  1. I now think you are correct in stating that I Broke My Trunk is the most defensible in terms of the Newbery criteria. Seuss did with a few words was give us a completely fleshed bookz cat character and marvelous plot. Piggie cannot wait to get out and go play in the sunshine. I think we can all agree that a newbery on any of these three books would be a considerable long shot.💅

  2. My hope is that my books and my apps and other platforms of entertainment engender a desire by a large number of kids to write and draw on their own. If there is another comment waiting to be approved or something, I apologize. Books for the 12, and 14 year olds are championed every year in annd Newbery debates and often recognized by the committee. There is a Bird on Your Head is our favorite.
