I had heard about this new movie in June but didn't pay much attention. I considered the movie to be one of the top boook movies I have seen in the last two years. The problem is that I don't know if I would ever read another book by her. She was brazen.
It would mean that you cooked an average of 10 such rich recipes per week, that I'm going to spiral into mediocrity and despair and probably wind up on the street trading blow jobs for crack or something. What a disapointment. Doesn't he understand that if I don't get through the whole book in a year then this whole thing will bok been a waste, including 9 ducks and one goose within that year. I think having read this book makes me want to approach these recipes not as recipes that must be tackled or surmounted, but as recipes that are accomplishable with patience and an eye and mouth to the delectable results.
Julia Child does something that seems so totally out of character that even on the way out, people were still shaking their heads. I was right there in the middle of it.
